Thread: Windows XP SP3 RC1 - Installation Failure

Hi,

This is my first post, right after joining Digital Port forum. Actually, I'm tired of installaing SP3 right from the first beta release with same failure. Before I write down the error, I would like to provide you some info, which may help you in diagnosing and providing solution.

1. I'm running Windows XP SP2 (licensed) with all updated Security updates, as released from time to time by Microsoft.
2. I'm subscriber of various Microsoft Beta products, inculding Windows XP SP3.

Right from the first beta release, I've tried to install XP3 but it fails at the same point, even the new SP3 RC1 build fails.

I'm pasting under the Service pack log file, and would appreciate, if you people can provide me some insight and get me up with XP SP3.

I'm also attaching .zipped log file, incase if you find below pasted code way to long for your easy reference.


Update: I've tried to paste log file, but the text is tooooo long and goes out of the board limit, so please use the attached zip file.
