Starting XP in SAFE MODE

Your memory cache can also increase performance.

Here's how to adjust it:

Click Start > Run type regedit

Now follow this path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Session Manager/Memory Management

Look for the LargeSystemCache value. More than likely this will be set to a value of '0', change this by double-clicking on LargeSystemCache and set it to '1'. Omit the quotes.

Reboot for this change to take effect.
