vB Video Pro Player

Our vB Video Pro Player will soon be released. This player offers much better security than any other player we have released so far. The player itself is designed to a very high standard, and fully utilizing the vBulletin database.

Features:

Support for multiple playlists
'Skinnable' Player
Preview thumbnail support
Zoom feature
Full screen feature
Pan screen on Zoom
Auto-detect video format
Auto-hide Control Panel
Pre-load of thumbnails
Player can be skinned
Auto-hide controls on full-screen view
Renamable directories for videos and images (better security).
Many features added to the AdminCP including: Shuffle, Auto-Start, Playlist Repeat, etc.
Auto-detect users internet speed, and change player to switch to stream or progressive download.
Domain locked and decompile protected for anti-piracy purposes.

This will not use a popup player, all data is fed via PHP, and MySQL. Full paths can be set from the AdminCP, includes external or internal linking to videos.

You will also need to check your server configuration using our free tool, click here for more information on this.

Security feature: Flash video files are cached by any browser, so anyone with knowledge of how to find such files in their browser cache is quite easy. However, since this player can use alternative names and extensions, videos can be easily be disguised. No HTML coded page will show the files being played since it does not use flashvars to load individual video's.
The player is fed via a single php file which cannot be accessed directly from a browser, all that will show is a 'white page'.

The above image is actual full-size, however the playlist has changed in looks, for better and easier navigation between videos.

This player virtually does have everything, giving you the most amazing video quality and sound, compared to our free XML version.

The security on this modification is very clever - instead of having the standard .flv extension (which you can use), you can name your files anything and have any extension on your movies. On our development forum we are using .dpv (obviously for for digital port video) - but it allows you to personalize your video extensions to anything. On top of this you can have the image and video sub/directories named as you want. This stops people trying to steal the videos from your website.

I'm hoping to have a demonstration up within a few weeks, showing how versatile this modification really is; the alpha preview image above really doesn't do the modification justice, since it has been modified a lot since that screen capture was done.

On our first XML version we set numerous limits, due to it being a free modifcation. When this database version is released, you will need to download our 'vbFLV Pro Video Tool', prior to purchasing the player.

Here's a brief explaination what this tool pack will do.

It will check that your current server configuration is compatible for using FFmpeg-php class, if not you will need to ask your host if they can enable it.

The tool will also come with a 50Mb upload script, to test if you can upload files higher than the standard PHP limit imposed by most hosts. You can change this limit by editing part of the script - this will all be documented.

You may wonder why we will be releasing a special tool before purchasing, basically this will allow you to use all functions of this feature packed player. Unlike any other modification you will see available, this player will allow uploading of mpg's, mov's, .avi's files - once they are uploaded then they will be converted on your server to FLV files, basically compressed down to lower bandwidth. This player will not require movies to be converted before upload, everything will be catered for server-side.

Once all tests are complete, and your server is capable of running this modification, you may purchase it.

The DP Video Test Tool will be available, prior to the release of this modification and will be available free-of-charge to use.

Hosting Providers
We have tested this tool on a few hosts, and some have failed due to their PHP not correctly configured. Not all hosts do provide, the essential PHP functions for this mod to work correctly. If you encounter errors with the tool, then this will decrease some functionality of the player. Some functions that will be available are:
Uploading of large video files
Uploading of any other formats, apart from .FLV files
