I'm confused with this 1 post per day

When does the day start and finish? I often post late on and then in the evening have to post again to last the evening. Is there a specific cut-off time rather than 24 hours from when you post?

It will look strange to some depending on the time of day and timezone. Even though the site is a .co.uk domain its hosted in Florida, U.S. Therefore, you have to take into account some scripts that we run, are based on the server time which is 5 hrs behind GMT.

Most of our scripts are run on a CRON, this is a type of switch that does many things throughout the website per day. However, if there was no one in these forums, then the CRON script would not ever be run - this maybe delayed in the early hours here in the UK when the internet traffic is quite quiet. We have many scripts that run at various intervals, and do numerous tasks throughout the day.

The CRON's for the arcade are quite complex, since they deal with a lot of data and may look like you are posting twice per day, but it will depend on the time of the post.

The way they are run now, is automatically, without using any intervention from us. Basically, it saves us time and a lot of work.

yesterday I also posted and it sayd that this is not allowed to your usergroup when I tried to play a threat from the sea.

Permissions to these games is disabled to everyone, including Moderators and Admins. If you look in the Arcade it states 8 categories available, but only 7 are showing.

All other games should be available, including Casino access.

Just getting 1 post in so I can check out the arcade, are you running the 3.7.0. beta with the arcade here, my play game in new window has a bar across the top and I want to see if yours does.

Hi kylek,

I've not updated the forums on this site yet to 3.7 beta 2 or 3, its running 3.6.8 (stable). We have 3.7 beta 2 running on a test board, and its not got any issues, I just checked the arcade installed on the test 'bed' and its all working fine. What you're describing sounds like an issue with the style, perhaps a template edit done incorrectly...???
