I would say start with the top sig image with the transparent background.

As for the tutorial you could add all the image steps to the Gallery->Members Categories (the gallery will automatically create an album for you). Upload all your images into there and then create a new thread in the forum Tutorial Section, and use the My Pics option (click Open to see your uploaded images) to insert them into your Tutorial. The forum is integrated to work with our gallery in a way to make inserting images easier when posting.

I am planning to have Interactive Tutorials very soon which are flash based movies, showing step by step on how to create various effects. We do have interactive tutorials already, but they are for admin use only at present.

Or you could just try your own way of making a tutorial - I'll leave that up to you..
