Following a security loophole regarding the forum script we use, the forums were closed for about 30 minutes while the 'hole' was fixed.
Due to the script we use on here being highly modded, the security hole had to be fixed manually. It wasn't a case of just upgrading the forums.
The forums will be updated very soon, and more user friendly with many other browsers.
