Mix Up

Does anyone here know how to retrieve a password for MSN Messenger? I don;t want to have to set up a new account as everyone knows my Hotmail address and I can't remember all my contacts e-mail addresses etc on Hotmail. Any ideas?

Depends on how you setup your account. Either through Hotmail, MSN or another email address.

Easiest way would be to go to www.passport.com and click on the link that you have lost your password. You will then go through a couple of screens in which you will be asked for your secret answer to your secret question.

If you need further assistance let us know.

Thanks Syrus - I tried that but because I haven't used it for sooooo long I can't remember anything. My secret question hasn't helped because it doesn't mean that much to me anymore. Obviously it did then but it doesn't now. I've asked for help by e-mailing the relevant people but they won't send me my password and say the same as you - set up a new account. But I don't want to do that because I'll loose all my contacts that have been there for ever!

Is there no crack available?

Have you tried passports online form? You would need to specify if you had any custom folders, roughly when the account was opened, a few email addresses from your list and any other details that prove that you are the rightful owner of the account.

As for information on cracks for anything, we abide by a strict policy and information like that is never given out. I would advise not seeking for this type of information on search engines - all you will probably end up with is a website stating they will send you the password if certain critera is met. Normally, then they will use this information you provided against you!

Sorry for not being much of a help.
