Hello,

Hopefully I'm posting this on the right thread, if not please forgive my ignorance. ops:

I've been using IE (pretty content with it)but today decided to give the Mozilla Firefox a try (was feeling unusally adventurous).

Now in order to access this site and many others I was instructed to download 'Macromedia Flash Player' which I have done so.

Well, my dilemma is that I need to change the Firewall settings to allow viewing of ActiveX controls and naturally don't have a clue on how to accomplish this task. :? ops:

Could someone help please??

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Eve

Right forum!

Which firewall are you using? A firewall shouldn't need configuring for ActiveX ...

hybrid,

Thanks for replying.

McAfee is the one I'm using and ... well I'm at total lost here, couldn't get it to work so I just figured it had something to do with the firewall (it's more than that but don't wanna get into it... LOL).... ops:

Well, to be honest, I wasn't all that impressed with Firefox so maybe I shouldn't even bother persuing it.... :?

Thanks anyways.

Regards,
Eve
