Hiya im a proper thicko when it comes to computers and stuff, so i hope I asking a relatively normal question! I have been sent an email that is supposed to be from the national lottery saying I have won some draw and telling me to fill the form in and then email it to a courier to confirm who i am and then supposedly the courier will arrange delivery of payment. Is it a con (stupid question?) cheers x

Almost certainly it is a scam. Another one is where someone will ring and say you have won a lottery prize....please press 1 to continue. This immediatly connects you to a premium rate line which can cost £60.00 per minute. To put your mind at rest, you could always ring the Lotto to confirm it is a scam, I'm sure they will appreciate your call.

Thanx for bursting my bubble helslayer hahah! doesnt look like il be going on that cruise then. Im going to ring lotto and let them know. There are some sicko's about arent there,they dont just scam people of money they could easily cause real heartache to someone by building them up and knocking them down. thanx again your an angel x
