As some of you already know, the look of Digital Port will be changing significantly in 2005. The site will be using multiple databases, which basically takes the strain of just using one. Any person joining one section will automatically be registered to all parts of the site, so there will be no need to register several times - like we have had in the past.

As for the pnFlashGames section, this will have its own separate section and will be much improved upon, over the current layout. Due to the expanding amount of games, we already have, I'm thinking of incorporating an easier way to navigate through the many games by coding a dropdown menu into the section. I do have a few other ideas, but I'll post them at a later date.

If you think this would be a good idea then please note it in the poll on this message.

Thanks,

Hybrid.

Faster performance in Windows XP using ProcessIdleTasks

a dropdown would be nice...

Just an additional idea (don't know, if it's the right place here...but I'll try):

- would be nice to have only the "good" games here. There are a lot of games, which aren't very well coded, which are easy to "cheat", which are just stupid......
What is good - what is bad? Maybe voting games out....each member select his/her 10 - 15 worst games and we all decide

so the dropdown would be much smaller

This is the only forum we currently have for pnFlashGames, so its fine posting here.

Actually, CharlieB that isn't a bad idea... I know there are quite a few badly coded games, or games that wern't that easy to convert to use the pnFlashGames connector. Many were converted from the 'old' Flash 5.0 or older format, which bring many errors in to Flash MX.

I like the idea though... and the complete redesign will look much better, with a gaming theme (designed by us!) to compliment the whole new site.
