Hello,

I've tried to search for Windows Messenger 5.0 in english in the microsoft
web page but I can't find it. Can someone help me?
I don't want the Windows Messenger 5.1, only 5.0.

Hello Jonathan,

In my company we are having problems using the windows messenger 5.1. Some
users can send messages but can't receive messages from anyone. To resolve
this problem, we reinstall the windows messenger 4.7 and after install then
windows messenger 5.0, and then, users can send and receive messages without
problems. This is happening in our offices in Spain. And now, we have the
same problem in our office in England. This is the reason I need the windows
messenger 5.0 in english.

where can I find version 5.1 and what does it have better than 4.7?

Hi,

5.1 was essentially a release for people requiring SIP and Exchange support, in addition to
..NET Messenger support. Although there's some tiny other changes (ink support, etc.)
generally it's not a necessary upgrade if you're not requiring anything beyond connecting to
the .NET Messenger network.
