how to delete windows messenger ?

I'm trying to delete the programme from my computer by going to control panel
,remove programmes ,but the Icon is still in the bottom of my screen still .
plz help me get it out of my computer completly !!!? thank you .

Right click on the icon and then click on delete in the drop down menu that
appears.

Greetings,

As long as you don't mind losing Remote Assistance, Whiteboard or Application Sharing within
MSN Messenger, you can simply uninstall Windows Messenger by clicking the Start button, then
click Run and type in (copy-paste if you like):
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

Then click OK.
Messenger will then be uninstalled. For more detailed instructions and screenshots, go to,
