Hello everyone I just thought as I have just joined this forum that I would say hello and let you know that I was here. I have a lot of varied interests that you will see if you check out my website. I am married to Jackie and we have three grown up daughters and three lovely Grandkids
Jackie has also joined this forum today and will probably be saying hello tommorrow.

Secondly, we look forward to seeing your wife posting on here.

Hope both of you have a good time, there are many sections on this site, full of interesting articles, pictures, games (if you're into gaming), and much more...

Yesterday, we actually had a massive 2,027 visitors - basically doubling our normal 1,000 visitors a day! So how did you find us? Just curious...

Wow... very active guy! eh?

Your paintings are very nice, do you actually sell any? By the way, nice website, plenty of content there.

I totally forgot about the url restriction... I had to enable it because of spam being posted. Now they normally give up after the first post.

Hi again thanks for the complements, I don't sell my pantings as such but anyone wanted one I supose I would. I just paint as a hobby, I have exhibited but never sold, there's always somebody there better.
The site was reccomended to us by Jim Deluce (Jimcracker) who we got to know through a BBC forum(H2G2).
I uderstand the problems with spam as another forum I visit (priceless Parrots) had a spot of bother with them for a while but he seems to have got it sorted now.

I used to paint many years ago... and used to sell pub drawings in the Cotswolds. Since then, I don't get the time to draw, and any graphic work I do, is on the computer. lol I'm more into design these days - and the odd bit of coding here and there.

I've heard of H2G2 - not sure what it is though.

Yeah spammers are a pain, I got a number of modifications set up on here now, just to slow them down. Only had to ban one twice in the past 2 weeks which isn't too bad. Now, I've probably attracted more.lol

You're more than welcome to use our Gallery for images, if you upload to Members Categories it will create an album for you, under your username. It's all automated.

I don't paint as much as I should any more, the portrait I have just done of my recently deceased brother is the first that I have done in two years, I have done it as a Xmas for for his widow.
H2g2 is basically a forum site but with the addition of giving one an insight into web building in a way as it allows one to build their own page by typing code,
They use a code called GuideML as opposed to HTML. when I have written my ten post I will enter a link so you can have a look, or just type H2G2 into google.

Welcome volcan, thanks for the compliment!

The site is currently going through major changes, as you will see over the next few months. The vbulletin style we use is Vertex Blue available from www.vbskinworks.com - but it is as been highly modified. The portal used is vBPortal, again this is being worked on, to give a better look.
