Angry Too much interference - too many do gooders

So we are to get new warnings about how many units of alcohol there are in each can of lager or bottle of wine because the do-gooders think we're too stupid to understand that too much alcohol is bad for us.
It's about time these idiots got a job doing something useful and stopped behaving like they are saving the planet or whatever.

True... I, personally don't drink - but some of the latest things I've seen in news lately is making this country look totally stupid. Probably, some 'tunnel-tutored' student that comes up with these ideas.

Never used to be like this, perhaps its my age...lol

I totally agree razzler, sounds like someone trying to make a name for themselves....they will, but not for the right reasons. I suppose the next thing will be signs on the doors of cars stating they are a danger to health!!

Re: Too much interference - too many do gooders

Bit like my connection last week...

I had a Microsoft Windows Driver Update required - did the update and then my PC wouldn't connect to the internet.

Windows XP message came up 'Click here to visit Microsofts website for a possible solution'.!!!

How dumb...? What can I say, I didn't click the link...lol

Re: Too much interference - too many do gooders

My experience of Microsoft products is that none of them work straight from the packet and when you update them they still don't work properly. Probably something to do with being too clever for their boots and making everything unnecessarily complicated.
I wish I'd bought Linux for this comp instead of XP, I was only being lazy not wanting to learn a new system.
