We have now upgraded the Digital Port paypal account, offering far better security. Digital Port now operates under a business account from Paypal. Transactions will be also be changing, and anything purchased will be instantly available and no longer done manually.
All the recent changes are part of the new Digital Port, due to be online in early 2005.
Some changes that will be made are as follows:
The site will be split up over several scripts, thus allowing for a far more versatile site. There will be a main section, games section, and a few others all of which will work from just a single registration. All current members will automatically be registered to all sections - so there is no need to re-register for any new sections. Regardless, of what section you are viewing, you will still be able to see who is online, and the chatroom will be available on all sections.
In mid-2005 we will bring in 'Live help', where you can instantly ask staff questions.
All members will remain within the Digital Port UK group, and no personal details will be sold, or given out to any third-party.
The games section will be strictly games only, from our normal online playable games to game cheats, game downloads, and much more.
Work is already underway, a complete new overall look, less clutter, easier navigation and faster page loading.
