We recently experienced an incident of bandwidth theft. This basically means that another website was directly linking to files held on here. Thus allowing people to use the files on another website, but using our bandwidth, this is classed as theft.

Since this problem we have enabled Hotlink Protection on all files, and setup a redirection page that alerts the user that they have not entered the site through a normal manner.

This will also affect anyone that has linked to us using one of our banner ads. We will upload a full set of banners that you may use on your site.

Note: With this feature implemented we have seen over 600 attempts in our web stats, to access certain files, from the same site!
