The new look Digital Port will shortly be online, however to achieve this we have to close Digital Port down. This will allow us to carry out the needed updates, and adding of new features. We will try and keep downtime to a minimum while we transfer data to the new site.
USENET access will resume once the new Digital Port is online. This was needed due to the huge amount of postings that had accumulated, in excess of 300,000 and far too large to import into the new site. Under the new site we will have pruning enabled so posts will disappear after a certain period.
The new
arcade will be available, with many new features. All the games we originally carried will be available and we will have a place where you can say which you think we should drop, or keep.
You may wonder why we are making so many changes, it is mainly due to the fact we now use many commercial scripts which are supported, and we can update if necessary quickly.
Some members have reported receiving an '501 - Internal Server Error', please note this is mainly caused by the phpbb worm exploit. There is nothing we can do to fix this problem since its a worldwide issue affecting many sites.
