Hi PinkFloyd1,
Small world...

I'm actually an ex-technical manager of CIT, up until about a year ago. I then started up my own group on MSN Groups, Techincal PC Help Desk, but I because MSN has so many restrictions on what can be done I decided to move on. I changed the name due it being too long for a domain name and have upgraded the Digital Port account several times, in space and bandwidth.
Digital Port is submitted every 7 days to over 600,000 search engines, we only started doing this about a week ago - so its early days yet. However, our traffic is growing very quickly, not everyone registers - but we have around a 20% bookmark rate, and we serve approx 250,000+ page views per month.
I have actually promoted Digital Port on CIT under Members Websites. However, they have strict policies on placing site links on their message boards. We are not a commercial site and just rely on small income from google ads, to cover hosting fees. I actually subscribe to development sites enabling me to expand features on here, and modify scripts.
If you wish to ask CIT, then you may do so - I have no problem with it at all. One thing you find with MSN Groups is that may look huge, but many suffer from 'dormant' accounts.
