We are currently receiving DoS (Denial of Service) attacks on our server, this is causing the Internal 500 Error.

I can please only one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow isn't looking good either.

What happened was the server was being attacked from many IP addresses. A script was wrote to log the attacking IP's and then block them, which as you can see worked.

Would be better if people had approriate security software installed and updated regularly, namely firewalls and antivirus programs which wouldn't leave them susceptible to attacks - and of course their IP addresses wouldn't be blacklisted.
